His recent Instagram post regarding the transfer speculation specifically spoke about his ‘deep affection and respect’ for Real Madrid and their supporters.

Hopefully he has the same for United.

Messi moving has cleared the way for him to rule La Liga again.

I'm usually right tbf.

(though not always, thought that Arsenal might get a result today for some unfathomable reason)

Makes perfect sense if they don't get Kane.

Their style of play will be tailor-made for him to score 40+ penalty-box goals, and they'll offer him a genuine chance at winning the Champions League.

As I posted yesterday, hopefully he has the same 'deep affection and respect' for United as he said he has for Real Madrid.

This. He wants about £750k a week after tax, or something daft like that.

L’Equipe reported earlier this year that he was on £46.7m per year at Juve

You would imagine that only city or Chelsea could afford him if he insists on a similar salary in this country.

It would just be wrong on every level, don't even think about it.

City singing Viva Ronaldo at OT. Let that sink in.

A player that won the Balon Dor as a United player....

This cannot happen.

A part of me is actually looking forward to both him and Messi retiring now, as hopefully they take the cringeworthy fanboys who have infected the modern game with them.

Last few years has been awash with little gimps from the arse end of Asia or Africa nit-picking each other on Twitter and Instagram about who the 'GOAT' () is.

'Penaldo' and 'Pessi'. It's the most tedious debate in sport, discussed by weird little child trolls who have never seen a live football game in the flesh.
