Shite @#%&! who got far too big for his boots, and another one we'll not be able to shift because we put him on inflated wages that no other club who can afford to offer him the same is ran badly enough to actually do it.

None of that matters though because he will be signing a new contract soon enough, securing himself as the most overpaid, talent-less man-child the Premier League has ever seen.

He should be rested - he's the only striker we have got left.

Mental as it sounds - this is correct

Stick Lingard up front for Rochdale. Pad out his goals/assists stats

What even happened there?

I'm looking for a bobble or a fluffed stepover.

The only benefit of the doubt I can give him is that he looked up at the goalkeeper and lost control of the ball. Not that it's an excuse for a Man United striker on about £200k pw.

He lacks the consistency of a top quality striker. Capable of some fantastic things, but his bottom level.... jeez, it's low. Really needs to up that consistency to show a consistent first touch, link up play etc.

Lingard on the other hand is simply dogshit. His bottom level is Championship standard, his top level is mid-table at best. Nowhere near a Utd player, never should have been, never will be. It takes a squad of all kinds of ability, but he's a little #@&%! & he's shit at football. £#%&! knows why he's still at the club.

Looked to me like he wanted to shift it inside a bit to his right foot and open the angle and got distracted be the covering defender coming in at pace from where he wanted to move the ball to and got caught in indecision. Classic lack of confidence, worrying about what the defender is doing rather than just doing what he wants to do.

It’s insane. Occupies a key position and consistently contributes £#%&! all.

Gotcha.

I suppose they'll be days like these.

I remember players talking about not reading the papers. No chance players today aren't glued to social media. He'll have to buckle up.
