He was rubbish lads. And don’t get me started on the hat. Splash a bit of cold water over your faces and take a long, hard look at yourselves in the mirror. De Gea made some great saves yesterday, and has saved us a fair few points this season. I’m not sure he’s to blame for our lack of midfield leading to a disproportionate amount of wide open chances for any and all opposition we face.

Seeing a lot of talk about his distribution at the moment.
He is quite bad at kicking a football.

You’re out of your depth son.

Can just see it now; we’ve started Henderson, expectations are high from the anti-Dave crew. Suddenly, we gift a chance to the opposition - one of our terrible midfielders has given the ball away and left us completely exposed. Henderson is unable to save the shot.

“It was meant to be different,” thought ‘The taste of...’, “I can’t work it out - Dave is gone and our midfield and defence is still £#%&!. It must be Henderson’s fault”.

FYI: £100m more than City. Nearly £300m more than the dippers.

I still find it pretty funny how the default dunce line on here is to say “you’re wumming!” when met by a difference in opinion or outlook. Playground stuff. As I said, you’re out of your depth here kiddo.

He puts and keeps us under pressure with his inability to kick a ball. Stunts counter attacks with his reluctance to throw/release early at times too.

First 10-15 minutes of the 2nd half on Saturday, Villa have us pushed back and everytime the ball made its way to De Gea he feebly gave it right back to them. He’s as bad as the midfield for putting pressure on the defence.

One of the best shot stoppers in world football. Shit at distribution and coming off his line .

Is he a top keeper and the best we have ? Yes. Should be be paying 200-250k a week for him ? No

No keeper is worth that much, if you you need have a keeper like that your outfield players are just dogshit. Again mismanagement has £#%&!ed us. However he has the contract now and he isn’t a concern as he has been playing well.

When you know your keeper is an unreliable @#%&! no defence in the world will keep clean sheets

His saves this season have also often pushed the ball back into a danger area rather than away from danger.

Not to mention as we got better in recent years and he had less to do, he started making mistakes. He’s only good when he’s busy, and even then he doesn’t create confidence or sense of security in his defence, and often deflects the ball into dangerous areas with his saves, causing panic. He’s done.

The offside goal the other day, he was a disgrace. Too scared to come off his line and attack the ball a few yards out. Schmeichel would have been out and on the attacker in a flash, with no need to be saved by var. Our defence plays like the united defence used to play when schmeichel was injured.

You really can’t ever let an opinion die pal can you. Even if it’s a wrong one.

He’s probably our most dependable player and amongst only two I would try and keep if we were to crash and burn. It was three before mason decided he was a head the ball.
