Then when we got the ball back he was disinterested - something Ronaldo never does. If you're going to ignore your defensive duties it better be because you're getting ready to mount a counter attack or you're just too £#%&!ing knackered.

He didnt have a nightmare but at times he was static and you can put it down to tiredness or laziness...I'm not complaining about his game by the way, he did ok, just an observation. Nothing wrong with giving the ball away by tryingsomething special imo, unless you're struggling and keep on doing it...when we're desperate to keep the ball.

I bet Tevez won't be trying a bicycle kick again for awhile that looked painful

Default ah, but...

did you see that eggs-squiz-it pass saha clipped through for tevez in the first few minutes?

rooney would have buried that. or hit it straight at the keeper.

either way, a superb pass. worthy of veron almost.

louis saha and rooney would lift our game to another level.

I was tempted to start a new thread "tevez, the costly misfit".

But my love for the forumistas here prevented me from telling the truth.

yesterday he played very selfishly. surprised. even though I think he is not the player we need, selfish wasn't the word I would associate with him before yesterday.

Is there something about the Portugese? Why do they always want personal glory?

You mean we don't need four good strikers? We currently have two, in need of two others. The finger pointing at Tevez is daft. Not what we need? Jesus, if he wasn't at Utd this season we'd have just had Rooney and Saha. That would have been it.

He's won us games this season with important goals. I'm quite happy to say he's been poor of late (although I don't think he was last night) but that doesn't mean he's shit, not what we needed or should be sold.

However I really do wish everything in life was so simple, so black and white.

To me the way he played last night he's been told to be more selfish and direct in front of goal. Nani however was very selfish at times. Can get ahead of himself at times Nani, that's why I think he was dropped earlier in the season when he had played a few games.

You can hardly blame Nani for that...
I put that down to a Rooney missed chance...Yet again

What a £#%&!ing piece of vile, English Scum that bastard is
How did he miss it????

His finishing of late is abysmal. He wants shooting.
I've counted 10 open goals that he's missed lately. TEN.

Drop the @#%&!. Get someone in from over-seas...anyone'll do.

We're a million times better when he doesn't play. FACT.

I hate our players....especially Rooney.

Buddy was suggesting Nani and Tevez don't get on?

Certainly looked the case.

Sorry like, I'd consider it pretty childish if two lads on a five a side team weren't passing it to each other, let alone a professional football team.

It's very easy to pick holes in Nani's and Anderson's performances when they make the wrong decisions. It will only come right with experience as with Ronaldo. Nani seems like he'll need more guidance than Anderson, who seems to be tough little cookie. Ronaldo needs to have a word with nani sometimes and tell him to calm down a bit.

I think the level of performances we've got out of both of them have been beyond most peoples expectations so early in their united careers.

Ive heard Nani is a bit of a @#%&! aswell, goes all the way back to his Sporting days.

Hopefully it doesnt ruin a potentially excellent career at United....
