OK then, who switched the telly off in disgust when Terry walked up to take his penalty?

Me and my mate walked out of the pub. We saw it through the window and ran back in when he missed

I told myself to watch it and take it like a man while consoling a lad built like a Greek god that was sobbing on his knees.

I remember saying "ofcourse it's him. Ofcourse it's f***ing him!"

I watched.

As soon as I saw VDS go one way and the ball went the other, thought that's it...

Yep.

You don't get out of it that easily, John.

Was utterly sick to my stomach watching that odious cockney c*** striding up to the spot, setting his captain's armband to the perfect angle for the cameras, socks rolled over his knees, all ready for his moment.

The jubilation when he missed was off the scale. 2nd best night following United in my life, after the Final in 1999.

Tears in my eyes watching Sir Bobby lead the team up to collect the trophy 50 years after Munich.

Kenyon.
