Love him

Everything about him is absolutely spot on.
Thoroughly decent & likeable Lad, local homegrown talent, supports the Club, no flash bullshit off the pitch, great to watch.
I really hope he kicks on & keeps improving. It'll be £#%&!ing great if he turns out to be a proper talent.

Already got a winner away at Arsenal

Made up for him.

Forwards are all about confidence and to score a goal like that at this level will do him and us the world of good.

He's gonna be £#%&!ing brilliant and he's one of us and he gets it.

Heskey Jr indeed.

Der Spiegel:

Welbeck made it better: after a cross from Walcott, he carried the ball on the turn with a hoe into the goal, absolutely world class.

obviously not the standard mantra; but still not convinced; if he was playing for Sunderland he'd be completely overlooked by the world.

hope i'm outrageously wrong though. didn't really rate RVN for a while either.

£#%&! welbeck - starting to make me kind of like this england team

cause one or two obvious exceptions - terry, gerrard, maybe hart - they are not too bad a bunch. a good young team, absent of the 'golden generation' hype, which will be even better when terry and gerrard retire.

haha - my sentiments too...

was really anti England at the start of the tournament (due to the Rio business) but seeing Welbeck score last night, and Garry Neville cracking a joke with Alex whatshisface-Chamberlain before he came on, has given me some fresh hope. I just hope Terry gets dropped, or if we do go out, its him that's the cause. I £#%&!ing hate 'JT' with a passion

He is class and anyone who doesn't rate him are clueless. His touch is superb and he is still young. The problem us the #@&%!s who don't like him ate people who want 5 goals a game from a striker and nearly score everyone they get the ball, the same people also rate 'Scotty' Parker.
