His earnings were leaked online a while ago. He's on 900k a week wages at barcelona, not including his other image rights that he has, and on top of that his sponsorships.

All in all, he pockets a cool 100 million a year.

There's only one club in england who could afford to pay that kind of ludicrous money (and they probably already are paying their players something in that region)
