Am sure part of his mentality is that he wants people to toughen up and to be ok with not pleasing everyone. Not saying it works, and he's undoubtedly a massive headcase, but in some twisted way he probably thinks he's helping. He wants players to play for the badge like their lives depend on it and f*** everything else. What he doesn't realise is he's one of a kind in that respect. Probably the only player we've ever had who is loved by everyone, but couldn't give a single f*** about us.

Keane might get results for a while but it would be through fear rather than respect and that isn't sustainable.

He's a throwback with no place in the modern game.
