Thank the good lord there’s no history of racism in the british army that might have influenced him at an early age

Thinking of himself as 'Black Panther' does not constitute having family who are black

Am I the only one that thinks that maybe he wasn't giving it the monkey gesture? Look at the video - it's a gesture (that could just look bad) that starts and stops in a second, right in front of a steward, not some kind prolonged racist chanting Why the £#%&! would anybody do that? Especially in front of someone who could have him ejected and banned??

I'm seeing a mixed-race girl and have had my fair share of xenophobic shit to deal with, this last couple of years, I'm the last person to be defending him if he was doing it. But how can anybody sure. His life could have been totally ruined c/o judgement by social media, for a momentary movement of his arms and mouth.

Bit of a simpleton. A suitable punishment would be for him to spend matchdays crawling up and down the touchline on all fours at stadiums across the country every weekend making continuous monkey noises for duration of each game for the next three years.

Every time he stops fans are encouraged to throw tea and pies at him.

‘Army veteran’ thrown in there like it makes him a better person. Illiterate scruff.

I agree with this. I don’t think it’s plausible that a 41 year old grown man from Manchester would deliberately do a monkey impression at the match. It’s a one second clip and it proves nothing.

But on the other hand £#%&! him. Having read his tweets and Facebook posts I’m flabbergasted someone that £#%&!ing thick has what sounds like a half-decent job. He should be pushing trolleys at Asda.

He's doing monkey arms but you can also clearly see him making monkey noises. So it's not, or shouldn't be in doubt. Or do you somehow accidentally find yourself swinging your arms and at the same time making weird shapes with your mouth for no reason.

Plus the fact the players £#%&!ing reported it and probably heard it considering they were right next to him.

At the end of the day, he’s a City fan and deserves absolutely everything he has coming to him, regardless of whether or not he’s a racist. Let’s just kick back and enjoy it.
