Need some positivity tonight and a half-decent performance.
I fear the knives will be out if we don't

Didn't you say something similar about our 2nd and 3rd place finishes under Ole?

So 3 out of the last 4 seasons we've finished in the top 3, but it's always despite of our manager at the time and we just get lucky?

Seems fair.

That was a negative and right now I need two positives, one to cancel out the negative and another one so I can have a positive.

getting rid of TH would be the worst decision we have made since Fergles retirement

agreed but it's almost like the weight of the job this season has crushed him.

He'll probably go somewhere good that aren't completely dysfunctional next.

Not the kind of guy to throw in the towel imo.

Seems like a fighter.

He kind of said in one of his last interviews that he enjoys it being a shit situation. If he can come out the other side of this shitstorm he'll be a real top, top manager.

There appears to be a belief that some manager is going to walk in and it’ll just be brilliant from minute one, no ups or downs, just a straight cruise back to the top.

Personally think the cycle continues until a manager gets a solid period of time to ride out these shit storms and rid the club of the players and staff causing the issues.

And the second the owners change it’ll be like flicking a switch.

Fergusons start to his 2nd full season in charge..

that's right, a whopping 6 wins between august and january. I dread to think what the 'surveillance' thread would have been like

The next season was even worst

8 wins between august and March

There's no way he'd last now.

I know most of it is Wums, but it's really £#%&!ing pathetic to be actually questioning a manager like Erik after the first season he had just had...

If we get rid of him this season, even if we are mid to lower table, it will just extend the period of how £#%&!ed we are.
