Credit to Neville for calling him out on it. No-one else was going to.

They’re the best team in Europe now too

Even though they didn’t even qualify for the champions league

Some fantastic mental gymnastics on display here

1 PL title. 1 CL title. More comparable to Blackburn Rovers and Roberto Di Matteo’s Chelsea than to great premier league teams.

He's absolutely mental.

They’re so needy. This team must be considered great. VVD must be the best CB in PL history. Trent the best right back etc etc

But then they also play the underdog card ….

Not to mention that a big reason Liverpool and city are better in Europe is because Europe is on its arse

Us and Arsenal had to contend with mid 90s Juve, Galaticos Madrid and Pep’s generational Barca.

There was always someone to fear. There isn’t anymore. Not a single team in Europe comes close to any of those teams.

If you've been to Tenerife, Liverpool went to Elevenerife

It's easy to forget but the Arsenal games were mental. The managers, players and fans genuinely hated one another. It's easy to see why Carragher goes overboard about this City thing. If you've never had sex and then get sucked off by Rita Fairclough you're bound to go on about it.

Carragher again pushing this notion that Liverpool v City has been some tit for tat rivalry in recent years, despite winning one of the last six. Reminds me of when they used to include Andy Murray in ‘the big four’.
Or when the media pushed the notion that United and Arse dominated the pl in the 90s. We won 5 titles (+ 2000 title) to their 1

Well, they were champions and in 1991 too.
