i've said this for a while, they're eventually going to get it right....

Vassell will be well chuffed, Ericsson and his mum are the only two people on earth who rate him.

proven club manager. not too many individual "celebs" at city to deal with. i think he will probably do ok.

his club record is not as good as people always make out. In Italy he was known as the bridesmaid, and only eventually won the league with Lazio when they were throwing around ridiculous amounts of money. I think he'll be just right for city.

Two cups, a championship & a Cup Winners' Cup during his four years at Lazio. Good return I think.

You obviously know nothing about football do you? Erikson took ENgland to 3 consecutive major tournament quarter finals and only lost 2 qualifiers in all that time. Give me one other England manager that has managed that level of consistancy?

Still I suppose the sun and the mirror say he is rubbish.

He'll need longer than 3yrs and more than £50m to turn that pile of shit around.

Indeed. Football writers made out he was awful because of his shit record at friendlies, even though he had an excellent record at competetive games, the only ones that mattered. And it was the Meeja that were the reason England didn't get a top-notch replacement in Scolari, not that you'll hear any of them admit it. Now they've got McLaren and they're laying into him, aswell.

They're happy to have the power but will never accept any responsibility. Words can't desribe my loathing for 'sports editors'.

Eriksson will be appointed, the takeover will go through and then Thaksin Sinatra will go to prison and have all his assets frozen.

Sven to pull it off?

Have a feeling they'll be celebrating 3points off us in August.
