Big Wally has been alright. Less loathsome than Sanchez and Martial for example.

We don't néed billions pumping into the playing side of it, if city are punished appropriately it wouldn't happen anyway.
Hundreds of millions of pounds to spend on players of his choosing in the summer is hardly tying both hands behind his back I’d say.

They probably won’t be his first choices though, or second or third for that matter, there will be too much money sloshing around for us to compete against.

And then when one of the oil money clubs comes in for ETH? Why would he want to stick around struggling (relatively)? He may want to, who knows, but you couldn’t blame him for jumping ship.

I’m pretty sure the players we signed in the summer were his first choice - Antony, Martinez, Malacia etc. The only one you could argue wasn’t is Casemiro because it looks like he’d prioritised De Jong if he had to choose one of the two. Not exactly a bad backup though.

How is he struggling?! He’s doing an incredible job, he’s doing better than any manager post Fergie, at the biggest club in the world. He’s having the time of his life.

It is not because we are unbeatable or financially doped up it is because we have a great manager and likeable players. The excitement is there because lets be honest, we always think we are going to slip up and get beaten no matter who we play. It makes the wins far more enjoyable.

If you think about it and Qatar did throw billions into United and bought the best players in the world would it actually be any better? it might be for a season. But then what?

It would be better if state sponsorship was banned across the entire planet and stable financial models implemented. Will never happen though. Too many snouts in the trough.
Top postage and totally in agreement with that last point. It's time the sport had a shake up (one's long overdue).

Spurs for sale, Joe Lewis wants £4.5bn

Glazers hear that and they'll be demanding £15bn for Utd
