That's it, i remember the fight basically ended his career and he spiralled into drink and depression. £#%&!ing awful.

That F1 race result was a monumental disaster. Aside from the mess of the race, losing a career defining championship. Unforgivable.

As someone who knows pretty much the bare minimum about F1 I couldn't believe what i was actually witnessing.

The owner of one of the racing teams basically getting on the blower to the race director and going "yeah can you just get all those other cars out of the way and give our guy a clear run on hamilton with fresher tyres? Cheers"

I’m not a massive fan, I check the results and try and catch the starts of the GPs. A lot of the info comes from Netflix

But as you say, they went all for max clearing cars in his way to LH.
It’s unlikely he would have passed the lapped cars and got up tight to LH before the end of the race.

Toto did his nut, LH on the face of it accepted it.
I would have rammed the car into something for good measure.
