Default Lewandowski

Lewandowski. Has spent the past month whining to the media about his hurt and betrayal at the hands of Bayern who had the temerity to enquire about replacing his 33 year old ass with Haaland. Says he'll never play for them again. Barca declared an interest and all of a sudden it was his dream to play for them. And threw in a few more snide digs at Bayern for good measure.

Yesterday he was told by Juan Laporta that Barca win't be signing him.

Oops

He'd be absolutely perfect for us. A proper player.

If he was just a couple of years younger I’d love us to sign him.

Certainly been a while since we signed a striker in their mid 30s.

Funnily enough I thought of that too.

Hopefully were it to happen he'd be another Shevchenko.

Swap deal for Mane?

Teh Sun with a red hot scoop....

MANCHESTER UNITED will join the race for Robert Lewandowski – if his dream move to Barcelona falls flat. United are keeping a close eye on the situation, and there is growing talk of a similar deal to the one which took Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford last year.

And United are one of the few who would not be put off by a salary of around £400,000 a week. Lewandowski has United fans in his family, after some of them spent time working in Manchester

He’s class and has always looked after himself. Get him in on a two year deal. We’re already recouping £1m+ per week on the shit@#%&!s we’ve already binned. Get it done.

ETH isn't going to fix the squad in a couple of windows so I'm all for stop-gap signings which allow us to fill other positions with long term buys.

Yup.

Sort of signing we couldn’t make under the previous manager because he couldn’t make a nickname out of his surname.

Sign him up.

The problem with us using that strategy in recent years is that, having brought in the “stop gap signings” we haven’t filled the other £#%&!ing positions

He’d score 30 a season for the next 4 years. Ronaldo levels of discipline & longevity due to his movement, a genuinely magnificent footballer. No future, so he may not fit the brief but let’s be honest, he’d drag us to a cup final at least. Magnificent £#%&!er.
