Sure he nearly lost his life during the summer but assuming he’s fully healthy now it’s completely different to signing a mid to late 30s player

Don’t get me wrong I want most of our signings to be young hungry players but you need some senior players in there as well

Well he’s not fully healthy now is he, he has a defibrillator permanently in his chest ffs. What happened to him is clearly going to affect the length of his career.

He’d be a massive 3 years younger than Cavani was when we signed him. Interestingly, they both have the same birthday though.
