They are both pretend midfielders who are actually attackers. Donny just does a better midfielder impression.

Spoke to a couple of blues fans who said he started alright, but they got @#%&!ted somewhere (can’t remember where… Norwich?) and he was invisible. Said he’s fine when they’re on the front foot, but shrinks when they’re under pressure.

Kind of got that feeling with us.

He’s not a @#%&!, just slow and weak. Doesn’t mind chucking himself into a tackle tbf.

He's no slower than someone like Scholes. His timing to get in the box is there. The big problem was people thinking he was a different player than he is. Jongers isn't a holding midfielder but he's more of a one than Donny.

He is one of the worst players to ever play for the club.

Runs around like a headless chicken. Distinctly remember his teammates ignoring his calls for the ball...

He is obviously shit in training as no manger fancied him...

Will get shown up next season when he is given a few games to prove how 'good' he is...

Basically get Beek in the same role he had when Ajax had their run in the Champions League, with the same rough set up around him.
