There’s plenty of legitimate reasons to throw a bit of snide at the way this club has been run over the past decade, but not signing a player we didn’t want in a moment when it’s absolutely irrelevant anyway isn’t among them.

I always think if you’re going to throw snide, making the same post over and over dilutes the effect after a while. But that won’t stop them. They need something to piss themselves over. 6 weeks ago it was the prospect of Liverpool winning the quad. Now it’s transfers. They mean no harm, it’s just their ‘thing’.

I just don’t even understand the logic behind it. If we spent 10m extra for someone just to sit on a yacht for three weeks everyone would be calling us mugs. Reeks of Twitter Tantrum a bit.

We signed Dan James in June of 2019. In 2020, the season was still ongoing until the end of July. So it's basically just we didn't sign anyone pre-July last Summer.
