The cynic in me thinks whatever the coin was wouldn't have the same value once it was generally tradeable. And why would anybody who created a coin give it out cheaply on twitter?

People used to tip funny comments on reddit with dogecoin. People used to give away thousands of bitcoin for the lolz. Its does happen.

Might be Safemoon anyway, one of the better known shitcoins.

Worth chucking £100 in some of them and forgetting them if you can afford it. Probably lose it all but only need one decent hit.

Added to my Stellar (XLM) recently as it seems the coin of choice for buying some of these. Got a load free off Coinbase and Binance a couple of years ago and theyve done well.

Me and my missus put $200 AUD each into safemoon a couple weeks ago. Very very early days but it’s moving up at least.

I bought one ETH on Friday and it’s moving up as well. All the real crypto ****ers say you should have it

Vitalik Buterin has done more than Elon in the shitcoin space the last 24hrs.

So the guys who created SHIB transferred half the coins in circulation as a publicity stunt/scam to Vitalik's (guy who created Eth) wallet. Worth billions.

He moved them to another wallet, converted to Eth and then sold a billion dollars worth and donated it to India's covid relief fund

BTC is already harvested on 90% green energy - will be even more soon, companies like Argo will be 100% green energy when their new Texas facility comes online in the next few months.

Things like Cardano (ADA) are already there & probably should have been pumping themselves in the press to counteract the crypto voodoo from Elon but who knows.

Personally wouldn't look beyond BTC & ETH long term for meaningful platforms, the rest are pretenders & tokenomics stuff that may or may not prove to have any long term value. Not to say there isn't a f***load of money to be made if you are able to get in at ICO levels etc, the likes of Safemoon are leading the charge there & with aforementioned tokenomics but you'll need to understand pankcake swap & metamask etc which I can't be arsed with (but probably very much should be given the numbers that are happening).

metamask is pretty user friendly. It's a little bit intimidating but it's actually not that difficult.

deployed my first smart contract this week. starting to get to grips with it. It's lot more powerful than I thought.

I've not dealt with pancake but metamask is basically an ether and erc20 token wallet.

I've used pancakeswap and trust wallet. It's easy enough once you know what you're doing but also easy to f*** up. You can set slippage too high and get shit exchange rates, and lots of stories about people not logging out of pancake swap and getting their wallets cleaned out.

This video explains it all. Its safemoon but same principle for any other shit/meme coins you cant get on the main exchanges yet.

I've got some Elongate, Safemoon, 420x and Icecap. My Icecap has lost about 98% of its value so its strictly play money stuff with these
