Thumbs up loved the way big andy just 'fathered' the game yesterday....

our season kicks off now just as i said.
sometimes the events of the week have to happen for the team to move forward just like last season.

hopefully we can now get a good run going with a fluid, fast and young midfield going forwards.

next league game it will be two from carrick, fletcher and big andy which is brilliant. dont think we will miss anyone else at all.

Rooney and Berbatov 'fathered' the game yesterday and Fletcher was the better of the two midfielders.

That's not my opinion btw, that's what happened. Anderson was good though.

He played well yesterday....Very well.....

Played a sort of 'scholes role'

Held the ball up and built play.......he will never score though........

he bossed it and was good in the tackle......Would like to see him get a run in the team......but i see him as a youngster....very raw and football immature...

He could be a legend......

not Neville......who i'm ready to say goodbye and Testimonial.

United controlled the game because the movement of the front four was immense and Blackburn play way too open, they did the same against Arsenal I believe and were battered.

Berbs and Rooney were the two best players by a country mile. It's just a shame they're white.

he was fantastic. a maturity well beyond his 20 years. Goals will come from him, but not just yet.

not at all.

our front four you say?
are you including giggs in that?

we controlled the game because our midfielders were both mobile, good at using the ball, always looking for the forward pass and always showing for the ball from the defenders and from the forwards.

our midfield yesterday was brilliant.

He was a bit hit and miss yesterday........He took a few on and had some good touches......But lacked his shooting boots....

i was screaming at him to hit 3/4 times.......

he didnt track (as per) but he linked up well......

Rooney in the first half was amazing.....even though he didn't score...he created all our attacks.....worked really well with the wingers....

Deserved his goal in the second half...

Default The first proper match was at Chelsea, but you may have a point...

M'boro'
Aalburg
Blackburn
WBA
Celtic
Everton
West Ham
Hull
Stoke

could get a few wins under our belt with our midfield against that lot

Yes I do include Giggs in that. His movement was excellent.

The midfield was good too. Anderson didn't boss the game though, no matter how cool he looks.

Shows how we all see the game differently that. I thought Ronaldo had a poor game. (I do know if tevez had scored hed have still had 2 assists)

My top dogs yesterday were Rooney and Berbatov (his first brilliant game imo) followed by Anderson fwiw.

Was being sarcastic.

As for Ronaldo mom. Not a chance. Again decent performance in that he always kept going and going when things weren't working out.
