My top dogs yesterday were Rooney and Berbatov (his first brilliant game imo) followed by Anderson fwiw.
everthing goes through ronaldo.

we look so different with him in the team.

almost set up tevez for a goal as well.

brilliant player.

rooney was good but did too much work in areas of the pitch where he wasnt needed. it was good he did it but id rather my window cleaner cleaned my windows and didnt help out with the hoovering.

He was playing on the wing for most of the game though, it's his job to help out further back when he's playing there.

Without Rooney yesterday we would have drawn.....

he 'created' everything....

and to think he wasn't even suppose to be starting....

Rooney has been given as Man of the match by every newspaper today, and every pundit I've heard comment on the game also said he was.

He was head and shoulders yesterday.

Ronaldo was a 5/10.

Nah, he was definitely told to play on the right wing. He even made a comment about it in his interview apparently.

the english press???

ronaldo was our most influential player and its no suprise he brings the best out of rooney which has been illustrated by the fact rooney two league goals were assisted by ronaldo.

Marlo, that's absolute shit mate.

Rooney was the best player on the pitch yesterday, simple as that.

I'm talking more about the times when he was merely touched, fell over and sat looking at the referee.

Er, yes it is. Ronaldo is not on top form, but he was still £#%&!ing brilliant. I think too much importance is given to choosing a MOTM tbh, it doesn't really mean anything. You could come up with valid reasons for half the team getting it yesterday. But to say Ronnie put in a 5/10 performance is just wrong, plain and simple.
