One of the best games I've ever been at. Pure drama and joy. Also had some tremendous pre and post match violent scenes with some Scouse @#%&!s.

I’m like that with Jesse lingard, but it’s an alternative word to hairy fanny

if you put mcgrath, robson and hughes into our current team, we would sweep the board.

Even at their current ages, it would add some steel. In their prime they were immense.

United road was absolute bedlam. Munich and Shankly for 90 minutes. Inflatable planes in the away end, skeletons dotted around elsewhere.

Fair to say the game has changed somewhat.

Robson and McGrath genuine world class players and would stand in any era. Robson a combination of all of Scholes and Keane's best traits, McGrath a combination of all of Rio and Vidic's best traits.

Hughes was not at their level but was strong as an ox, a real big game player, a scored some absolute beauty's.

robson was the best player in the world in his prime. by the time the premier league came around, he was more like el cid.

hughes could play with his back to goal, didn't take any shit from bullies and didn't £#%&! around when shooting (although he was capable of the spectacular).

they are exactly what our team is missing.

United road reds

Was involved in a huge crush in united road that was funny rather than scary at the time but was strangely prescient of events some 3 months later. Scenes in there.

Possibly my favourite period following the reds - that 86-93 period. Went down hill steadily with increasingly shitter home fans after we won stuff.

I went to that too. Middlesbrough away. Awful town, awful ground, awful game. If memory serves Peter hopeless @#%&! Davenport scored the winner for them.

Was a kid on the Stretford End fence.
Had it on betamax for years. Always fast forwarded to 71 mins. Loved Sharpie
