Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz says Manchester United winger Nani will recover from his shoulder injury in time for the Premiership kickoff against Birmingham City.

Queiroz, formerly United's assistant manager, says Nani could even make Portugal's friendly tomorrow night against Liechtenstein.

"He can't have any physical contact (on his shoulder) today or tomorrow," said Queiroz. "(But) all our expectations are positive."
