For sure. Did he do anything ever? Just remember him huffing and puffing the few times he did start.

That piano vid

The lack of a fee may save him. Also, never thought he wasnt trying. Just past it and symbolic of the entirely wrong direction the club was hurtling towards.

Shifting him off the wage bill is a big one.

That snide, shithouse Di Maria still the reigning champ IMO.

if we are talking about worst signings based on fee...DiMaria over Sanchez IMO

worst ever signings as just strictly players....now we're talking about guys like Bellion, Bebe. how they were ever allowed to wear a United shirt is baffling.

The best signing that didn't live to his potential was Veron. F'ing class player just didn't fit the style of play that Fergie utilized.

This lad was absolutely awful. Predictable, slow, no goals in him. So glad to see the back of this sackless waste of space (if this is true )

Sanchez wasn’t a @#%&! tbh. Where as di Maria is without doubt the highest @#%&! to ever cross the white lines of old Trafford and that includes away team players

The first of those three I get, but didn't we just dislike the other two because not only did they play for our main rivals but they often did well against us?

AdM's attitude here was utterly disgraceful and unacceptable.

Sanchez was an awful signing but never reached the levels of @#%&!iness that Di Maria did. I can’t wait til that @#%&! dies so I can go piss on his grave.

Whilst clearly a good player who sadly won lots of stuff, Rush only scored 3 goals against us for the vermin.

Wasn't his first the day they won Leeds the league?

Good riddance to this clown though, just hope we bring some talent in now before September otherwise it means very little. That song was a curse.

Some achievement.

Wasn't the £500,000 per week with appearances, image rights etc?

Guessing if he isn't here, he can't claim the latter?

Nowhere near

One of the most expensive players ever at the time

Our new striker to lead us to the promised land

Signed - 22 October 1980 for £1.25 million

Scored for first time - 19 September, 1981

This place would have not only pissed the bed but would have been smearing the walls H block style
