We've been in that section for every home game bar 2 this season, as it allows 8 of us to stand together from our usual seats in different parts of the ground and generally better craic to be in than sat in silence elsewhere and looked at like you've got 2 heads if you dare make some noise.
The plus points outweigh the negatives being in there, but there are obviously some bits that are a bit cringe or I don't agree with. Nearly every game we'll get up there just for kick off and go down early at H/T to get a pint. If that's what we want to do then it shouldn't be an issue if you're making some noise when in your seat. There are also obviously some clowns in there and some of the song choices are very
at times, but again just about weighing up the pros and cons and ignoring the shit bits about it as best as possible.
Fair play to the lads who run it, as I couldn't be arsed with the time it takes or the shit they get off the #@&%!s who think it's cool to slate it all the time. OT is miles better atmosphere wise since it came in, which is really the main thing that matters.
