The problem is that whilst our manager's approach is basically the right one, he might not be up to delivering it.

So we risk - again - a baby out with the bathwater situation.

garner, greenwood, tuanzers.... oh, and timmeh.... no worries. williams looks good, too. gomes would be magnificent if we were playing subbuteo. and chong is just shit. I will not trust ole whilst he keeps playing chong.

i've written off gomes and chong. if chong wanted to be the greatest player in the world he'd shave that hair and get on with it.

The youth, aside from Greenwood, are shite.

If this is what we are pinning out hopes on, jesus christ...

The thing with Fergie was that he introduced new youth players with a core of experienced older (on form) veterans to guide and help them. Ole doesn't have that luxury as most of the older players are past it.

The Scottish Player looks our most assured and experienced player at the moment; a youth player introduced last year.

Says it all, but saying that if the young lads being introduced this season can follow that path, things could be on the up next season.

love the kids coming through , just not entirely convinced ole will be given the time to finish off what he believes in .. god help sunday if they dont win , the international break will be hideous and may lead to him being pushed ... cant help but feel allegri is being lined up to take over

Pathetic

What I said was very clear, you just didn’t understand it. Then didn’t understand it again...and again.
Not quite how it panned out tbf and was more the case of you trying to be a smart arse over a couple of threads and it backfiring.

Funny how angry you get when it’s brought up though.

Allegri is fantastic manager and tactician, but would he thrive in this hierachy? I find it hard to imagine any coach being a top success with the current structure/personnel above.....

Gomes, Chong should go out on loan for a couple of years. Maybe they could do a Mason Mount/Abraham...

As it stands though only Greenwood looks like he has the ability to be a top four Premier league starter but other factors have to come in to play..

Garner looks promising too

Some fans talking like we have another Class of 92

Beckham, Scholes, Giggs were world class. Gary Neville, and Nicky Butt were dead certs for the first team. Cant really compare.
