He could have been very useful over the last couple of years, did very well at Sporting on loan and statistically at least he had a good year at Fenerbache.

When LVG arrived I was excited to see what he would get out of talented underachievers like Nani, Welbeck, Kagawa, Rafael, Jones, still believe that in the short term at least he would have been better served by working with what he had rather than dumping so many. There was deadwood, Anderson, Buttner, Macheda, Bebe, Zaha, Cleverley but ultimately it looks as if we spent the best part of £200 million replacing our squad players with a group of a similar or inferior level.

If this happens I will read every post in Throb's post history.
