We should have never sold him in the first place, we haven't had anything better in his position since. Mata on the wing is a farce.

£6m for a player who knows the club and is much better than what we have? Seems like an easy decision for me.

Him, Bailly, Zlat and Pogba Squad fixed for under £100m.

I'd be embarrassed to cheer them on....

If Nani was a Nanny, he'd be called Mary Bobbins.

The shopping wishlists are getting out of hand. People pulling figures from fresh air/their hole, and presenting a 'plan' as if it's just a matter of picking up the phone.
Wind it in.

Bailey is done, Nani has a release clause and he never wanted to leave in the first place so that's simple enough. I'm pretty sure it'd just take a call to get Zlat, it's probably already sorted any way.

Pogba is the summer transfer fiasco.

Love Nanners tbh was gutted he couldn't stay fit and get a run together in Fergie's last year and the Moyes debacle. Sort of understood LvG letting him go.
I was disappointed to see Nanners go. But I remember Sers early doors saying he didn't have a chance with LvG, which was true. A player of such fragile confidence and, let's be honest, not the most intelligent, he was hardly going to respond well to LvG.

Plus he looked a little lost during that last year or two. Despite United, of course, signing him to a 5-year deal when Moyes hadn't made up his mind on him yet

Selling Nani for 50p and buying Di Maria for £60m then getting rid of Di Maria and complaining about a lack of fast attackers wasn't Van Gaal's finest hour to be fair.

Had to do that because he was on a long-term contract on silly money.

Di Maz felt a great signing; I think Memphis is the one that reflects a lot worse on the Big Man.

Imagine we'd got Sanchez instead of Di Maria

At the time di maria was signed it was like trading nani for a far better, more talented and consistent nani.
But nani was mentally stronger which is outrageous.

He's gone and i hope to never see him again.

LvG left us with such a small squad that we have to add some depth again, bringing in Nani helps to address that and for a very good price.

He wont play every game for us but it's better than another season of Mata on the wing.

£#%&!ing hell Nani

I suppose as a squad wide option it makes some sense but I'm not sure re-signing Nani is sending out the best message
Plus the OT crowd absolutely hate him

Still Jose has sent out a real olive branch to Siders with this move
Maybe Siders will fully commit to Team Jose if another old Utd favourite is re-signed........
