Am I missing something here? More disabled spaces insisted upon by TC? The current designated area for wheelchair users takes up a key area of east stand and furthermore compromises current and future arrangements for away supporters for domestic cup competitions. Why not house the disabled pitch side around the whole stadium? - sod the ad' hoardings for commercial purposes. Okay, a potential injury risk for the players but that surely is easily overcome if the authorities get their thinking caps on. If we can land a man on the moon then this should be a breeze.
Hang on, I don't see disabled areas at any other PL games when I'm watching
on telly. What's going on?

If you put people in wheelchairs pitchside they would barely be able to see cos of the camber of the pitch

Was sat at the lights at the circle the other day and was looking at the Sputh stand, looks properly tired tbf. Deffo needs something doing with it. Was always under the impression it was too difficult a task though.

I'd love for OT to look like a complete stadium rather than a hodge podge of stands again but I'll be surprised if we're willing to shell out the money, the Glazers are used to shafting local taxpayers to fund their American stadiums as an "asset to the local economy" after all.
I'm sure the council could be won round but the other issue is the foundation of OT itself which, according to reports the last time this was touted after the quadrants, could cost more to repair/replace each stand than to build a new stadium. Considering the club own a lot of land around the stadium already it might be cheaper to build a new stadium next to the current one.
