Can see Mou going for Alves' experience for a year.

Bellerin could be the one to kick on now in general. Barca bound to be back in for him soon.

Fabinho at Monaco emerging.
Thought he'd pretty much confirmed he is going to Juve?

That 'The Club is gone' statement was ridiculous though.
Really? Hardly the footballing institute they once were, nor are they the shrewd financial bullies they were. The club that dominated for 25 years has gone. What comes next will be interesting. Doubt they'll do it again for quite some time, if ever.

Carvajal? Lichsteiner? Aurier? Danilo and Darmian were the 2 big moves last year and they both struggled. We talk about replacing Valencia but who out there is significantly better, and available?

Bar Rafael of course.
De Sciglio at Milan looks half decent, 100 appearances already and he's only 22.(I think)

That doesn't mean we are 'gone'. Not even close.

well if that's the case then mourinho won't hesitate to get rid of him this close season then.

funny how two of the greatest managers of their generation, ferguson and van gaal, both had him as a regular in their teams. let's see if a third elite boss concurs, although tbf valencia is coming up 31 now.

Same as everyone else, TV money has gone up so mentally that pretty much all PL teams are now in the top 25 richest clubs in the world

Add in the fact they are paying at pittance for their new stadium & they are going forward rapidly if they can fill it as well.

I think clubs like West Ham, Everton etc could easily spend £100m this summer

We must have a disgusting amount to spend

FWIW I think City will break the record for a single club spending this summer.

Their new stadium costs them like a fiver a week as the taxpayer is covering the rest.

I would have thought Fellaini not being able to play football with his feet will likely count against him.

It is incredible, really. Private company's asset paid for with public money. Great departing gift for London from Boris.

They're paying about £2m per year or something for the lease

Still peanuts compared to the £12bn they spent on that glorified school sports day in 2012.

Imagine how many £#%&!ing hospitals you could build with that?
