Default Centre Backs 21/22 title push....

Who's out there ?

If we're sticking with Harry the mess, he's going to need an exceptionally quick footed, strong partner.

Who's popping ? Brand new whip just hopped in..

That Godfrey at Everton would probably fit with the limitations of Maguire and not need a season to adjust to the prem.

You don't win anything with harry the hoover in defence. We could have Pele next to him and we'd still sink 100 goals a season.

I think the head will look a totally different player with the right sort of CB next to him.

His current partners are exposing his weaknesses instead of covering for them.

Yep. He looked transformed with Eric next to him for that 3 / 4 game spell a month or so back. Lindelof is the issue, £#%&!ing useless!

Well since Pele a) was never a defender and b) is now 80 years old, you are probably right there tbf.

Only managed to complete 3 full matches in the League for Leipzig this season. He makes Bailly look robust.

Maguire's played more in the past fortnight than this guy has all season.

€40m is an interesting fee, it's his buy-out clause but shows how much the Scousers have missed Van Dijk. Him fit & if Konate slots straight in that is a massive upgrade for them next season.

We badly need to do something similar, I don't want the lad at Sevilla. The kid at Monaco looks interesting - Badiashile. We were reportedly trying to sign him last summer for around €30m, recent quotes state he actually turned us down to ensure he developed there rather than sit on our bench. He's only 19 but has had a great season by all accounts. Might be second time lucky. Looks like he has all the right attributes to play alongside Maguire.

Why are you looking at kids? (No noncery suggested) We need leaders on the pitch to shake performances out of the other players.

I'm looking at quality, age is no concern.

Badiashile & Haaland or Ramos & Vardy (for random examples purposes only) I know who I'd want at Utd.
