So that's Tevez and now Lescott.

Ribery must be on his way as Hughes tries to assemble the first ever Scar XI.

I like the way people are saying he 'can't refuse' the money.

What, because he's on £3.60 an hour at the moment is he?

I'd wanna leave Everton for them also.

He's worth £10mil tops but if it does'nt matter how much you spend, £24mil is no different to £10mil or 50p.

Its the blues at work that make me laugh the most, tomorrow morning is going to be enjoyable; £20+ for Lescott, he's better than Rio and Vidic dont you know

He's not going from £50k a year to £150k a year though is he.

A mate of mine knows the wife of a Preston player, I forget which one, she is his accountant and says he could easily retire tomorrow. I suspect Lescott could too, so what's the difference?

Maybe he suspects there's more chance of trophies with city than Everton, in which case it makes sense.

But this idea that you 'can't refuse' when you're just going from unspendably rich to unspendably rich doesn't make sense to me.

how do you know he is not going to be on 3 times as much?

why would you not want more money for playing for another team thats

going to finish close or above your current team. Players now dont give a £#%&! who pays there wages, look at all the players city have signed all said they wanted to play for other teams than city then boom up comes the money and they sign for city.

nothing wrong with that if thats what they are in it for just dont think most players are arsed anymore who they play for.

ps rich to him and rich to me and u will be 2 different things

I don't, you compared it with moving from compay a on £50k a year to company b on £150k a year, I was just pointing out that is very different from going from £50k a week to £150k a week.

And I agree with everything you say, but that's the problem. Lescott's probably a poor example really, all I'm saying is the idea that people already on more money they can know what to do with 'can't refuse' even more money they can know what to do with is daft to me. If I was on £50k a week at United, city could offer me a million pounds a day and I'd tell them to £#%&! off. It's not like I'd starve.
