Think Dave has pulled his hamstring but otherwise a top team.

Think/fear we might see a few ‘fresher’ players in there. Ie, Players who have been training. Ie, Lingard. A few of the late arrivals given longer to get up to speed.

Yeah. Don’t think Martial will start. Greenwood likely. Suspect Cavani might need easing into the season again. Just trying to find any way he excuse wangling Lingard in there.

None of our midfielders are good enough to be first choice

Beeky has to prove himself and work his way in. The rest have proven they aren’t good enough having played plenty.

Fair enough but we do have to pick 11 players

I can also see a five man defence being preferable to Ole but I don't think we have a prolific enough striker to compensate for it. If he went.

We'd look pretty solid defensively. In fact I'd say that's my best team. You've just got to hope that either Cavani turns up on a regular basis or Greenwood is experienced enough to handle the pressure of being a loan striker. Lot to ask of him.
