Wolves are an odd one, as their transfer business is seemingly controlled by Mendes. Apparently they're getting Palhinha for €20m from Sporting, who I'd imagine United would've been quoted at least €40m for.

Wouldn't be surprised if they got him on the cheap and then Neves left for less than you'd expect. I'm not an expert on Wolves, but I've seen it mentioned a few times that part of the Mendes thing is that he basically decides when players move on, so they can't slap the £#%&! off price tags on players that most Premier League clubs do. Happy to be corrected if there's anybody on the forum with a better knowledge of Wolverhampton Wanderers than me though...

Don't think we'll sign him either way.

Rather we signed Neves, Sangara, Anthony, Timber and a CF than spend over half of our budget on a player that had to be begged to join tbh…
