For all the money in the game these days, it must have been £#%&!ing amazing being a top footballer and allowed to go on the piss all the time. Playing football for United and getting hammered constantly, then two months off for summer. £#%&!ing hell

Lasted about 2 months at Portsmouth.

I'm sure he was angling for the Arsenal job recently.

He's high on my list of players I could never really understand the fuss over, a decent English centre half, but that's about it. Raised to undue prominence by a £#%&! bit of commentary by a shouty #@&%!.
