I presume the 25 is a 7 thing. Just get a proper number until Caravan sods off.

Respect it a lot him not giving a £#%&! about squad number. It's like when Keane made 16 his own.

Should have just given him 7. Cavani is old and on loan, he’d have understood.

Does anyone care about numbers, other than a few virgins on the Internet and Anthony Martial.

I’ve always had a thing about numbers. Right backs wearing 3? Minging.

Gallas 10? Get out, I mean it.

Apparently NOT ready to start training today

Ole says ‘hopefully’ him and Varane unlikely to be involved tomorrow, but ready for the bench against Leeds.

This season is going to be like the start of last season. Hastily rushing everyone back amidst a pandemic.

That’s Cavani, rashford and Sancho all missing from the frontline for the opening game.

We’re going to be sticking Martial straight up top there, aren’t we?

It's a joke tbf.

Ole will start with the we have to improve when the players are fitter etc chat after the first 3 games after a slow start. Even Varane, maybe it's out of their hands but why has it taken so long for the visa stuff etc when other clubs can just sign who they want and fly them in.

It’s a strange one. How long is Sancho’s £#%&!ing holiday too?

Tbf to Ole, he’ll have a point. I’m sure other clubs are suffering with it too. Any top side is going to have multiple players away at euros, copa america and Olympics, then there’s Covid gear to deal with. Most clubs have barely made a move in the market either.

He’s either going to have to rush good players back or put faith into those with a bit more training under their belt.

It’s such a shame because it’s a great fixture to start the season, we’ve got the fans back and it’s going to be a properly patched up side.

Leeds will be full of it too and doing their usual routine of charging around like maniacs (so brave). Gonna have our work cut out.
