Pretty sure they said this after Sancho signed as well. And then we sold nobody and signed Varane.
Looks like Trippier is the next priority, and then which type of midfielder we go for will depend on whether Pogba stays or goes. Regardless, I can't see us signing more than 4 outfield players. Unless we can get rid of the 3 CBs on that list and bring in James Tarkowski. |

The talk before the summer was £150m spends. Still a bit to spare even before sales Varane should provoke at least one centre back leaving. Just give the rest away and get them off the wage bill. Couldn’t care less about Pogba these days. Stay. Go. Whatever. Just shut that fat agent up. |

Jones - £18m (proven Premier League experience, good age, and has the English premium). Dalot - £20m (young international, will surely attract interest from Italy or Spain). Tuanzebe - £12m (promising young player off the United Academy production line). Bailly - £20m (27 year old with pace, power, and experience in La Liga and England). Pogba - £150m. Lingard - £25m (England international, social media brand, Premier League experience, and a solid loan done). Pereira - £250,000 (Brazilian). A cool quarter of a billion to be banked there. #NetSpend |

De Gea is a liability, he’s cost us £#%&!ing loads over the last 3-4 years. Needs shooting out of a £#%&!ing canon. Should’ve been sold to PSG and we should’ve got Donarumma. |
