Kelly Cates (Dalglish’s daughter) was leading a discussion about racism on radio 5 last night, was concerned that players coming forward to report on field racist abuse find it difficult because they tend to not be believed. Maybe have a chat with the old fella next time you have a family get together?

Particularly liked this bit, 'Suarez and Terry did not create the toxic mood but they helped set the tone for a decade that would get progressively worse. They, and the people who backed them to the hilt, should look back in shame.'

They will be seething .

And so they should. For a club and it’s supporters that make a case for being the most principled in the world, it was unsurprising for those of us that know this not to be the case, to see just how quickly they would ignore principles to support their then leading player.

For the club to do it was unforgivable.

Fortunately, most football fans know LFC for what it is and their supporters for what they are. It’s just that the media so often gets its wrong.

And strange that a club known for demanding justice and apologies for any slight against it doesn’t offer the same effort when it’s acted the @#%&!.

Best bit was when after all that support Suarez £#%&!ed them off for Barca.

Blind loyalty really paid off.

I’ve seen the comment “Luis best mate at the time was Glenn Johnson” quite a few times this morning

Another go to coment for the dirty bin dippers is Big Ron and Schmeichel.

Didn’t their chief exec or someone similar release a statement on their site saying Evra has form for being racially abused? 😀

Surprised the article didn't make any direct mention of this.
