It’s just constant poor decisions in the final third. Rashford the obvious one there, but look at the follow up from The Scottish Player too. The ball is Greenwood is still on. He’s unmarked, left of the penalty spot. Poke that to him and he’s got a free shot on that left foot. Instead, The Scottish Player goes with a long range effort with his weaker foot, while being closed down.

The wrong choice and the more difficult choice to execute….but the most impulsive one. Which is why he does it. And that’s the case with so so many of our attacks. More of than not, we make the most impulsive choice and it’s usually wrong.

He should be taken off. He looks like he needs a goal . We already have players that could take rashfords position at the club. Getting rid of him isn’t urgent.

Our poor central midfield and defence needs addressing first.

Just confidence with rashers pal

He’ll be back to his best in a few season once he’s got over his back injury and regained his confidence.

You realise performance and scoreline don’t always align, don’t you?

I find it’s less impulse from Rashford and more dithering… he seems to forever be thinking about what to do and by the time his body actually does something the moment is gone.

It he was thinking, we’d be ok. I don’t buy that he’s ‘overthinking’. It’s the under thinking that worries me.

His instinct is to run with the ball….impulses, instincts…same thing…. They need to think more in those key areas.

£#%&! me, that challenge in the 57 final .... red card & 3 match ban for that now.
Then the keeper comes back on, with a broken cheekbone, to play as an outfield player.

I don’t see any other teams as bad as us at just giving the ball away

Bruno again.

When we need to do simple, we don’t. When we need something more expansive, we can’t do it, .

Varane is better on the ball than our midfielders and forwards.
