I don’t know, but he’d be at Barca.

I have no idea whether it would work or not tbh; just trying to provide a counter balance to the hysteria.
Removing woodward from the decision making in player transfers in and out is a huge step forward. Basically means we pick players primarily to suit the team rather than commercial interests. We just need to remove him from the financial side of any deals now.

Neville would be the lesser of two evils, but still not the right man. Ferdinand, VDS, Wenger would be better
Surely that would go down well with Arsenal fans

Here’s the link to the article I posted on here a couple of months ago about Cruyff.

https://www.utdforum.com/forum/showp...2&postcount=71

Really does sound like he should at least be considered.

Ok I buy it. I wonder how easy it would have been for Ed to have spent the last six months working on Cruyff-Poch for this summer.

Not sure about DoF but Madrid, Barca, City, Bayern, Juve, Ajax, Liverpool, Dortmund Arsenal all have sporting directors or technical director and similar structures above their managers.

Tbh I think we seem like the only major club that doesn’t have that type of structure above the manager?

According to JJ Paradise Phelan isn’t in line for the technical director role

Also says Utd stars in Pogba, De Gea and Lukaku () will want to leave if we don’t get top 4
