Just waiting for the "we outsang you!" posts on Twitter and the like.

Absolutely anti football, Newcastle. Desperate to get any of our players sent off.

They didn't

Absolute deafening silence from the 70th minute on from their end. Like they knew they'd shot their bolt.

I know - but every team we've ever done in a final tries it in.

Big win. Wasn't the best performance but after the week we have had it was solid. We have a team with characters in it now, things will only improve with Ten Hag.

He is fantastic with his subs.

Those arseholes hadn't played since last Saturday. We've been 2 games a week since Christmas, played a cup tie Thursday and have another Wednesday. We went 2 up and managed the game 2nd half, perfect tactics in my book. Newcastle can have the plucky runners up with more possession trophy, £#%&! em

Buzzing for Dubravka. Awkward coach journey home though

I'm genuinely suprised at how much this means to players like Casemiro and Varane. Nice to see players enjoying the moment of it

it’s the first step in proving them right that they aren’t just here for the money but after silverware

A day of seeing contrasting characters. Jaffo in all his splendour and O'Neil.

They were the moral victors, don't you know.

Read somewhere that the Newcastle players would have got up to £1 million in bonuses (no doubt shared between them) if they'd have won. Ouch.

That quite possibly didn't help tbh, same with the "68 years" thing.
