If the lines overlap, they’re giving it to the forward this season. Bruno’s did, Salah’s didn’t. Nothing at all controversial about it, but don’t let that stop you, guys.

He thinks players need protecting. What he actually means is that he wants it nice and easy for his attackers/midfielders to fall over and win freekicks and penalties under any kind of pressure to discourage actual defending against them and wants it easy for his defenders and midfielders to foul cynically to stop the game flowing.
