The Return of JC

Default Nani making all the right noises.

A lot of players have come out to say how good he looks.

Good for him, can't wait to see him unleashed on the premiership.

Anderson is the one who excites me more. Sexually too.

Wonder when we'll see Anderson? Inter on August 1st?

To be honest, I think that's why Phil Neville eventually went. There wasn't enough players bigging him up over his looks. To be fair, the 'windowlicker open mouth and stray slobber' was always going to be the problem he wasn't going to overcome.

I'm not gay like but I thought he was quite handsome.

That's right sailor.

Agreed. I think he has greater potential, but that doesn't make Nani no slouch!

I expect Anderson (and possibly Tevez) will take all the limelight and maybe allow Nani to go about his business (comparatively) more quietly.

Also, i think it's easier to make an impact on the flanks than through the middle. He's had plenty of pre season too and should be ready to go come August 12. Anderson and others need to get some friendlies under their belts and I think Fergie is more likely to feature players with good pre seasons behind them in the first few games.

With Scholes being out it wouldn't suprise me if Nani started the opening game.

Really, why not Inter? Would've thought that'd be ideal?

Nani looks like Michael Jackson. But only when he's the zombie in Thriller.

Peterborough is tougher opposition. Throw him in at the deep end.

Must say, the more I see Nani play the more encouraged I get. I think the most impressive thing is how composed he seems on the ball, not something often seen in a winger. I also like that he seems to be a decent finisher, reckon he'll get a fw goals this season.

Nani is shit. His "goal" yesterday was misplaced pass that he got lucky with. When he done that somersault, I was praying he landed on his head.

Showponey @#%&!.

without scholes and neville, with tevez:

vds
brown - rio - vidic - evra
carrick - hargreaves
ronnie - giggs - rooney
tevez

without tevez, rooney up front and nani wide left/right switching with ronnie.

i wouldn't expect nani or anderson to dislodge either of giggs or scholes this season. they'll make appearances but it will be giggs and scholes for the big games.

giggs looks in cracking form in the friendlies.

it's a good situation to be in in that the 1st 11 more or less picks itself and there are young lads coming through in most positions who have talent and the luxury to develop at their own pace while the older players can still perform. very impressive rebuilding from fergie.

the only area we're a little lacking in is full-back. brown doesn't really convince me at rb and i don't see any youngsters pushing hard for a place. simpson? not convinced yet.

Agree about the right back slot, I suppose Hargo can fill in there from time to time. Next season it's got to be dealt with. Still think they should take a chance with Drenthe.
