i prefer the italian system based on domestic league wins. both us and the dippers would have one star with us obviously 2 behind.

feel free to correct me on this but juve have 2 stars cos they have won it 20+ times.

not interested in the 2 stars for euro cup/CL. i notice united did it on some random menswear last season..

No. We are going to win the CL with Nani and Anderson consecutively for the next seven years. It would look strange with all those stars.

In italy you get a gold star every 10 scudettos (sp?) and a silver one every 5. Juve have won it les than 25 times so just 2 gold stars.

Thats a good idea to be honest. Who would have a star then?

Us, Dippers, Arsenal? Who else?

No. I don't like this business of teams wearing their resume on their shirt. We don't need to advertise our success to anybody. They know it already.

a good point grimson. but as a system the italian one is in theory a good one as it rewards sustained success. big old star for what is a cup competition where you can draw your way to the final and win on pens..is not good.

got to be 'football club' back on the badge as a matter of priority anyway.

It isn't a football club anymore. It's a brand.

The only teams that need to wear stars on their shirts are those that are shit and need them to remind everyone they used to be good once. I.e England and City.
