And if Martial had scored the easy chances he had or if they hadn't completely fluked a goal, maybe we would have.

Such fine margins in football. Things are a mess now, but it can settle down and turn around very easily. Love the trust in youth, though.

Yeah it's nice. But if shit can turn round "easily", why isn't it?

It's not easy, it's £#%&!ing painful and depressing. We're such hard work. Really difficult to like.

Clearly we're going to need to get some players back before we see a huge improvement. You play a bunch of kids with guys like Mata and Fellaini the supposed leaders and experienced heads and you can expect them to struggle as they did second half.

Quite like the personality of these young players, though. They're not looking too phased by it, just badly short of experience and proper old heads around them to guide them through. They were unlucky first half, but second they faded badly.

Nobody fancied us for the league this year, so struggling with nine players out and an average age of 22-23 should be unsurprising.

Not mutually exclusive, tbf.

But it is gutsy to decide against risking Jones, Young or Schneiderlin in order to show some faith in the kids. Nqat.

Used to be something United fans like in a manager. Before they became whining bitches
