In other news, it is reported that May might *finally* have something concrete to say about her departure as PM tomorrow.

Might........

Dutch voted yesterday. They have released their exit polls which show,

5 seats for the socialists

4 each for Marc Rudde's liberals and the social democrats

3 for the Euro sceptics

3 for the greens

The extreme left lost 1 and stay on 1. The party for animals lost their seat but the grey vote (Party for 50 plussers) gained one.

So... why haven't we released our exit polls ?

My source in the know has said:

Not verified until this morning, then counted on Sunday when all European polling Stations have closed
If that helps at all.

The Dutch are doing the same with the official vote counting, but they released the unofficial exit poll. Now, I can't believe that the UK media end all did not bother with an exit poll...

Yes, you're right. Just did a little digging and this comes from the Daily Express:

Quote:
Will there be an exit poll for the European elections tonight?
There will be no exit poll in the UK.

This is because elections are taking place across Europe until Sunday and results cannot be announced before the last votes on the continent are made.

Other countries where voters take to the polls on Sunday have exit polls, but itís unlikely weíll see that from the UK at all.
I'm not sure why they have exit polls in Holland if they also went to the polls yesterday, but we haven't in the UK, crazy dutch bastards, but there will be no exit polls to look forward to (or not as the case may be) today from the sounds of it.
