Apparently the club don't have a good relationship with Inter over the whole Perisic thing with us offering £45m but they stood firm and wanted £50m. I think we are just giving them some of their own medicine.

Hence the 'with no money they're better at transfers than us'..

One of the hottest properties in Italy for £12m up front

Another example of United being so £#%&!ing cheap it's unbelievable. £5m extra to secure a player in a position we badly needed.

Even better, euros

tbf though that's all he is at the moment, a prospect. In fact you could draw really good parallels with Danny James and the amount we paid for him.

as much as I love to stick the boot in with woody, the line has to be drawn somewhere. we don't know if they originally asked for 45m, for example, then tried to be #@&%!s and get 50. Not sure I'd be trusting any Italian teams ever, tbh.

Simon Stone saying Lukaku will more than likely stay and no bid has even been made for him.

Says we’d want more than the 75m we payed for him two years ago.

Sounds like negotiation tactics. Italian press seem quite sure there are talks so there must be some interest in selling.

Maybe Ole having second thoughts because we can't actually buy anyone.

Yeah I reckon that’s a real possibility.

Would he really have faith in Woodward to sign a replacement by the close of the window?

Suppose the problem with our window closing first is that it probably makes foreign clubs feel they have an advantage. We need our shit sorted earlier than they do. Perhaps makes it tougher to play hardball. Hence maybe us trying too hard and asking £75m+

Apparently Icardi has left Inter's pre season camp and is training alone. May bode well for getting shot of Fat Rom. Where was he today?
