FIL's an Evertonian and visited on Saturday night. Said he was glad they lost so they could get rid of Silva, and was hoping they'd throw all the money they had at Poch.

Moyes
I'm not sure we're in a position to be laughing at Everton and no offence mate but as soon as Fergies retirement rumours began swirling all manner of names were being bandied about to take over.

Nope.

Seem to recall when Fergie announced he was leaving Moyes was the name pretty much every paper said was getting the job. It all happened very quickly.

8th May - announced retirement

9th May - Moyes announced:

10th May - My birtday

are you mentally challenged? names were bandied about, especially on this forum. I'm very aware it quickly escalated to Moyes being announced but lets not let this nugget slide

of this thread. Great read

More laughing at the fact that he wanted his own team to lose because he was hoping they could get Poch in, and now might end up with Moyes instead.

Although apparently Eddie Howes names in the hat as well, which would be a class appointment imo.
