England HAVE to beat them, otherwise it’s a big failure tbf.
If they lose to Croatia it takes a lot of the gloss away but it's not a big failure. This team have beaten expectations.

In a perverse way losing a semi final can be more accepted than losing a final in this country because like 1990 and 1996, losing the semi finals in that manner gave the illusion "what could have been." whereas if they lost the final on both competitions in normal time, it's definitive that you've come short.

Croatia have 4 or 5 good players but the rest are bang £#%&!ing average. England will never have a better chance of getting to a World Cup final.

Croatia have been average in their last two games; they are there for the taking.
same could be said about england tbf.

I've been hearing this a lot. Croatia have played all of 30 mins more football than England. You reckon that will be key?

More likely for me that it will be down to who has the better players. On form, that is Croatia, but who the £#%&! knows any more.

Considering the draw England have had, which is arguably the easiest a side has had, it would be a failure if they didn’t reach the final.

Croatia are not some great side who should be feared and are on a par with England who have arguably the best striker in world football, better Centre backs than and the form players of the tournament

They will never have a better chance to reach a World Cup final and going out in the semis to Croatia would be a failure.

Yeah I’d say so tbf

Not forgetting that England have been able to rest the first team players before the Colombia game too.

Didn’t Croatia rest half their side against Iceland?

Looks like only 2 players who started against Denmark started against Iceland. So they actually rested more players than England did.....

I'm expecting it to be close, croatia don't look great and England have flattered to deceive so far imo

Been asked if I want to watch it down castlefield locks, for a quick recap, here's what happened last time I was down there:
