Farewell United

I had mine confiscated a few years back. We were playing Rangers. A mate wanted to take his dad. Didn't tell me his dad was a) a Rangers fan or b) planning to wear a Rangers shirt to the match Hauled out of the Stretty after 5 minutes. "It was under his coat. Dunno how they saw it" Why wear it at all ffs.

Anyway, I assumed that was me £#%&!ed. I had a chat with someone in the ticket office, promised not to do it again and they only withheld them for one match. Seems like a much worse infringement than yours, Keith, so I don't see it being a problem.

I actually got arrested for nicking the matchball in the late 80’s whilst in the scoreboard paddock. Was taken to the cells in the main stand. My original name on red issue was matchball as lads we used to see at the match and aways around that time called me matchball. True story.

Amazing how quickly people bail when times get tough. United have always been @#%&!s. Been going (ST) for 30 years and doubt that any of this happened. Maybe get behind the team who has given us so much happiness and togetherness over the years?
